Microsoft Windows Media 9 Capture is a simple application that you can use to capture audio and video content from devices connected to your computer.

This utility is built on the Microsoft DirectShow sample application, AMCap. In addition to the capturing capabilities of AMCap, Windows Media 9 Capture enables you to capture high-resolution audio and multichannel audio.

Windows Media 9 Capture is intended for use as both a simple capture application and as a code foundation that you can use to develop custom applications that capture multichannel audio.
