A lot of standalone DVD-players has a problem with playing DivX/Xvid
with a packed bitstream, for that reason, MPEG4Watcher was created.
When I set some files to download in the morning, I want to watch them
when I get home. I don't want to waste a cd/dvd trying to watch it on my
standalone DVD-player just to find out that it contains a packed bitstream.
So now when I get home, the files that needed unpacking sits there waiting
for me, unpacked and ready to go.
MPEG4Watcher sits in the systemtray and periodically checks a folder for DivX/Xvid-files.
When an DivX/XviD is found, MPEG4Watcher checks if the file contains a packed bitstream,
if it does, it gets unpacked to another directory.
This improves the chances that you can watch it on your DVD-player.
MPEG4Watcher can also check Rar or Zip-files and unpack them if they contain a
compatible file.
