MEncoer264 is a front-end for MEncoder, that is dedicated to x264. Source can be any media that plays in MPlayer, which includes Video-DVD. Different x264 encoding profiles (plus custom profiles) and various video/audio filters are available. The current version supports AVI output plus MP4 muxing via MP4Box (still experimental).
